Analysis of skelp deformation zones for the down trajectory of electrically welded pipes forming

Deformation zones along the down trajectories of skelps forming using mill TESA10-50 (Pipe Electrical Welding Unit) were considered. For pipes with 50×1.5 mm diameter, strained conditions for identified different options length as-formed skelp initial position upward gradient within range H = 0÷50 mm. It was determined that increase in trajectory contributed to decrease longitudinal strain values, however, it could not provide allowable values entire zone mill. Reduction curvature by 8÷13 % resulted strains at edge length.
